How's it going? When you don't post, I figure you are in the rough phase of your chemo. Hope you are on the upswing.

    Thanks Connie
I still deal with fatigue, loss of appetite, general malaise and problems sleeping. I've been trying melatonin and lemon balm but last night took an ativan which gave me the best sleep in a long time. I have to push myself to do anything. And I still walk daily, sing in choral group, and bowl when I'd rather curl up on the couch.

I saw doc last week and my ca125 is the same which is improvement since it did not rise like last time. I will now have a PET scan after my Dec infusion.

Get next dose tomorrow (Friday). Have to start chilling hands and feet today and continue for a week. Weird.

Thanks for thinking of me. Hugs, Mary Ann

    Ativan
I went 5 nights without taking it and slept very little. Gave in and took one last night so I'll be half way rested while my family is here for thanksgiving. Guess I'll have to get my rx renewed.

Hope Friday's infusion goes well. Sorry to hear you are still so fatigued. Glad your CA 125 did not rise. What is your number? Hope the hand/foot syndrome continue to stay away. Have you tried benadryl for sleep, since you do not like taking the Atovan. sleep is so important, so i hope you will take Ativan when needed.

I don't like taking Ativan either, but if I am still awake an hour after I go to bed, I take the Ativan. It is much nicer to get sleep rather than just laying there. I was taking Benadryl, but have been able to go back to the Melatonin. Wishing you many good nights of sleep.

You remain in my thoughts and prayers. In peace and caring.

How are you Mary Ann? Hope
How are you Mary Ann? Hope all is well and all this fatigue is just cancer leaving the body! I have been given Ambiant for sleep and while it is a mild dose and takes about an hour and a half to kick in it has helped me sleep soundly. I usually get 7-9 hours a night and dont feel foggy or doped up the next morning. Praying for you. Best, debrajo

    infusion went well
Just got 3rd dose yesterday. Went well. Ativan has given me 3 nights sound sleep - praise God!

I am also on lexapro which may improve my energy level in time. I am extremely thankful I have no hand-foot issues (knock on wood).

Thanks for all your support. BTW, last ca125 was 315. I'm looking forward to it dropping next time!!

Hugs and blessings to all, Mary Ann

    Hi Mary Ann,
Mary Ann, I'm glad your getting through your treatment and staying positive and active. You are an inspiration to all of us. I pray for you and all my sisters on this board. After 1 yr I'm still taking Ativan, it's helped me sleep and with all the anxiety that comes with this disease.
I'm starting to volunteer at a GYN facility here, hoping to help women in my community or just having someone to talk to.
    Wishing you well.
