I just had my second chemo this last Wednesday. I just took my temp and it is 99.3. At what point should you let the doctor know?

I believe they say if it's
I believe they say if it's over 100.5? Not sure about that though. You can also go by how you feel. We know our bodies!! :) Best wishes to you.

    My ONC says 100.5
Your Dr. and the chemo nurses will want you to call them and report a temp at or above that point. If you get concerned about any symptom, please don't worry... just give them a call. It took me way too long to realize that my Dr.'s office and I were a team and I didn't have to grin and bear chemo. All our bodies react differently and I've had times where my ONC lowered the dosage, added or subtracted pre-meds, etc.

    I was told
that if my temperature went over 100.5 I was to go to the ER. One night it went up a couple of times but I got it down with Tylenol. When I told my doctor, she was not happy with me. I just didn't want to go to the ER again.
