I just finished my [second] first collection. I am waiting for the results, they take several hours. Im hoping I collected atleast a million. If the results come back low like last time. They are going to discuss other options with me. That Cytoxen really did a number on me Ive had 3 blood and 2 platelet transfusions this week plus my ANC was at 0 for a week. Im already anemic again so Ill probably be needing more blood and platelets soon. I've Been in here for 12 days now. I remember back when I used to think 6 days seemed like forever. I know Im going to be in here for a lot longer though so I have accepted it. Its hard though I miss my home and my animals. And I just want to be able to live my life. I have decided that when I am all done with this I am going to go to nursing school, so that has given me something to look forward to.

    Dear Felicia
I hope you get good results from your collection. I understand how much you miss your home and beloved animals and regular life, so I'm hoping and praying that you get released really soon! Nursing is an admirable profession and you would be a terrific and caring nurse.

    Hi Felicia
Best of luck with your results. I can only imagine how tough it is to be in the hospital for long periods of time. Hang in there, girl.... you're battling for good times to come.
You'll make an excellent nurse. You'll have empathy and experience.

I just got out of the hospital. My results were not good, so the Dr has decided to post-pone my treatment for 6 months. I don't know if I am going to go through with it, obviously this chemo has taken a huge tole on my bone marrow and I am worried about secondary cancer. And besides I don't know if I can go back to my normal life for 6 months with one last chemo treatment hanging over my head. Unless my cancer comes back again I think I am done with chemo.
