We lost David today. He took his last breath around 4 pm. I was shocked at how fast the end came. Hospice said it was a peaceful death but I don't know. David wasn't their son. I didn't feel peace. I'm devastated, heartbroken, physically sick, and I don't know what to do. Our extended family all came over and that really helped.

I can't begin to think about facing a life and a future without my son.

We are so sorry for your loss Cindy. I have been following your journey for sometime now. As the care giver for my wife, I understand your frustration at times with the medical professionals. Prayers to you and your family.

You have been a wonderful caregiver. From one caregiver to another, I hope you find peace of mind somehow in all of this.

I can't begin to imagine what you're going through, but you gave everything you have and that is special.

    CINDY-
I extent my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Please Cindy I have read some of your posts and I know what heart break is, I feel your pain as I type my chest hurts with pain for you. My daughter was dx with cancer one year ago and is fighting the battle. I know exactly how you feel, I cry all the time. There is a Scripture in the Bible about Lazarus. When Jesus went to see Lazarus and heard he had died Jesus said "Lazarus has gone to rest" I hope this can be of some comfort to you. God gives us peace and relief even if it means "death" Your son is at peace and resting. Revelation 21:3,4 says there is going to come a time when there will be no more pain and suffering. Cindy, you will get peace as time goes by you will learn the new "normal" without your son. It will not be easy, but it will get better. I wish I was there to give you a big hug. Be well my friend and I pray that God give you the strength and wisdom to endure this tribulation. By the way, a word of advice. Do not isolate yourself from your husband. (I did and it was not good) Best regards. I would love to hear from you soon to see how you are coping.
