Hi All

Just wanted to let you all know some good news.

I had my 6 monthly MRI scan results today following my mucoepidermoid carcinoma and the results were NED. Bit of fluid, polyps in sinuses that were present on previous scan which were of interest had gone, tiny nodes in both parotids of no concern, see you again in 3 months for a check up and next scan won't be for 6 months now.

Absolutely over the moon, just popped home to give both my little ones a big hug and a kiss and got back to work. Thanks again for the wonderful support I received on this forum back when I was going through the hard times of diagnosis, neck dissection, tonsilectomy, wound infection etc. This is a wonderful place with which I wanted to share my good news.

I wish the same for everyone on here

    So very happy for you. I had my 1st PET last Friday and am waiting for the phone to ring.

    Thanks everyone.

    I remember how encouraging it was to see other people's NED reports when I was in the early stages after diagnosis, it made me feel there was light at the end of the tunnel. I hope someone who is where I was may feel the same reading my good news today.

    And P51 it's great to see you here! I took some time out to get back to some normality with the family but it's lovely to be back! I have posted a few times over the last couple of weeks, but am going to hang out here a bit more now.

    I'm I'm a really good place right now. How are you getting on?
