Is there a reason that when I post, it is not registered as a new post?

I've made three new postings this morning. They appear but the topic is not noted there is a new post. The New post information encourages members to read. While my thoughts are not that important, if I take the time to respond, I would like the recipient to know u've responded.

Can anyone explain. Other postings are being marked "new"?

    BMGky, they don't register as new to you but they are highlighted as new to everyone else. When I make a reply to a post and then go back to that subject it looks "read" to me but "new" to you. I do see you have replied to several posts this morning. Hope this makes sense.

    Hi,
    I might be saying the obvious but since some of our welcome people are not here, very sad. For the newbies its good for us to put specific words in Subject - aka like website question on posting or Stage IV story of quality of life.
    Also once in awhile, or if you feel its a good across the web item. Add Esophageal Cancer .... It may then get a google hit as well, so others can find it.
