    One last big thank you
Well today is admission day with the op set for tomorrow. Woke with butterfly's but kids off to school and so much,I litany planning behind us I now feel quite calm about the whole thing. Wife's parents are here to do the kids Nd,y family are set up in an apartment near the hospital to be able to spell my wife on her bedside vigil so she can get home, thought the hospital has also given her accommodation even Though we only live thirty minutes way. Danish surgeon flies in today so should get to meet him tonight. Have been cleansed of MRSA, been eating like a trooper to gainweight (even though I still weigh the same as I did when is eighteen and always have) and plans are in place for house adaptations whilst in hospital. Mags here is linked to a yahoo group we created so my wife doesn't have to spend her time repeating herself in texts, emails and phone calls so will receive updates and she link to here.

Feels like nothing else to do but get on with it. Thank you all so much for your kind words, thoughts, prayers, vibes and all the other form your support takes- I will happily accept it all. I look forward to being able to post again postop and hope to have good news (just have to get past those dam para aortic lymph node biopsies which is positive for cancer mean the rest is off- pesky last hurdle that I can do nothing about except keep my fingers crossed).

    Thanks to you all,
    Steve

Can't you just cut your danish with a knife like everyone else?

    ;-)
