    Thanks Craig!
How are you doing? I hope all is going okay.

I'm Doing the EZ Ones Twice, LOL!
    I just set a personal record of 15-months clear...in year 8!

Only went one year clear before...and that was in Year 1.

One doesn't expect to be scoring their biggest victories so late in the fight...one would expect to be slipping or just hanging on - not moving forward. Eight years is a long time in the fight - and mine has been mostly active.

We've lost over 300+ on the rectal board since I joined...so many of them were dear friends of mine...folks I had spent time with face to face...and with their families...

We've lost several recently...and it always makes me reflect on why I am still standing - when all of my friends that I joined up with and shared my life with are falling around me...

Well, it can certainly be an empty feeling...

I still expect to recur at some point...having it 3x now, it's hard to run for long...it's a weird feeling, because as I said, I've never gone this far clear...I find myself walking down the Path of the Unknown...

Each new day now sets a new record...I'll just walk as far as I can...while I can...I'm a big believer that Time Will Tell...it always does.

    Take care and congrats!

    Hi Craig!
None of us knows what the future may hold, but like you, I continue putting one foot in front of the other on that Path of the Unknown.

Thank you for the congrats and I say back atcha for being a true survivor who continues to amaze and inspire so many of us!

    Hugs--

    Hi shirlann!
Thank you so much! I hope you are already planning a big celebration for your 2-year anniversary. According to information I've read, after one hits the 2-year post-treatment mark, the chances of recurrence drop significantly. Now that is something to celebrate!

    congrats to you
we are close in age, i am 60 next year. i am 3 years post...so glad you are doing well. hugs sephie

    Hi AZANNIE!
Thank you so much for the congrats and your kind words. I'm so glad you enjoyed your birthday celebration. How nice of your family to surprise you! I never used to get too excited about birthdays, but since having cancer, I see them as true gifts! I will soon be headed to 60 and I can hardly believe it. I'm so glad both you and I are here to celebrate our special days! Hugs!

You're welcome! Yes, birthdays are true gifts especially since what all of us have endured. This was the big 60 - lol! When I was younger I used to think 60 was old, but now I think 60 is the new 40 - lol!
I'm glad we're both here, too! Wishing everyone many more birthdays!
