I am happy to report, 2 1/2 months post surgery, my energy is back

I had been feeling more energetic each day, but had been getting really tired by Friday, and spent the weekend resting up. This past friday, I was feeling pretty good, after a busy (but holiday shortened) week.

And this weekend, we actually did things: Company picnic all day Sat, and took my 10 yo to a baseball game yesterday (I had energy yesterday...the Nationals, not so much). These were the first two trips more than 10 miles from home. No problem with energy.

There is still a little pain when I cough or sneeze, but I can live with that.

Figured I would post some good news. Would have been better news if the Nats won yesterday....

    Welcome back to normalcy
Glad to hear it. Your note reflects your great attitude. There was a song a few years back, "Ain't nothin gonna break my stride...."

    The road to recovery
Each of us recovers at their own pace. Some are a little ahead of you and some a little behind you. The good news is that recovery only gets better and you can do more each day. One of our younger members even went on a roller coaster after 3 and 1/2 months. You can wait till next summer for that.

The picnick was at 6 flags...but no rides for me
I looked longingly as my daughter and a friend rode the rollercosters. But, I *knew* I was not up for it. We are planning a trip to Univerisal Orlando in Jan. I hope to be ok then (will be 7 months).

    50/50
    dhs1963,

I will give the rollercoster a 50/50 chance for you in January.
