His oxygen level is low he has oxygen given now. He feels very tired to even talk he says he has never felt like this b4 .. Even the time he was hospitalized with neutrophils of 10 during rchop and had told mom later on he didnt't think he was gonna make it... He says he feels worse than that time... I hope nothing I wrong with heart or other issiues. They say long, sound clear now we hope it stays that way ...

    Hi DadysGirl
    Hi DadysGirl,
Sorry for not posting sooner, I haven't been home all day. Really sorry to hear about the problems that your dad is experiencing! Really hope that the doctors stay on top of all the stuff he is going through. I don't know sometimes docs can make us really angry when they start to do the run around. Don't let them do that, demand answers and ask a lot of questions (I regret not doing that 3 years ago when my mom got sick)! I will be praying for your dad and for you! Hang in there, stay strong and keep the faith.

    Sincerely,
    Liz

    Prayers....
    Hi DaddysGirl,
My prayers are steady for your dad. I hope his breathing issue clears up soon and things will start looking more hopeful. Never give up hope and keep the faith. Hang in there dear. Much love...Sue

Thank you so much Sue and
Thank you so much Sue and Liz... I hope so too. He was doing so great not sure why they had to have all the transfusions ESP. On someone that has had heart problems in past... One nurse said they always give diuretics between bags of blood transfusion, she was shocked why they didn't do that... But then later she said maybe he was tolerating it ok so they didn't. My dad said yes but I have heart problems...
This can lead to heart failure, but doc said his heart was not shallow so it was good... Everything is scary but with prayers and God's help hopefully he will recover and get well and get cured... Some of them are saying its all the fluid he had and some say it's normal part of the engrafting... I always ask questions butmcan't stand the i think answers or answers that are different by everyone... I 'just hope he is well just like few days ago.... W e appreciate your prayers and thinking of us... Lots of luv, hugs and of course prayers to you both... Again thank you soooo much...I'm drainedmtiredmi hope I didn't write anything wrong... Take care... Mike I hope you are doing well...

I'm glad you are doing well... it's auto... not allo... I know you're asking that becuase of the engrafment stuff... it was the fluid... they felt he should stay another day today to see if he can deal without the oxygen but he REALLY feels beat up, yesterday the day before much more but still very weak... i hate seeing him like that, but if the end is going to be a cure it is ok... just wishing and feeling very scared about the outcome aat 100th day... do you feel nervous ?

    Hi DadysGirl
    Hi DadysGirl,
So happy to hear that your dad is home already, it seemed like a very long time. I really do hope that he starts feeling better soon but just remember that its gonna take time. Nonetheless its great to know that he is finally home and able to rest in his own bed. Tell your dad that I'm still praying for him and of course for you and your family. Take care sweetie, sending you lots of hugs.

    Sincerely,
    Liz

I am doing great. Energy is
I am doing great. Energy is coming back, actually worked out lightly over the last couple of days. Felt so good to be somewhat active again. Staying focused on the end of this and remembering that God never gives more than we can handle. So glad your dad is home, I know that feeling of finally being able to rest and recover in your own home and it makes such a big difference. I continue to pray for you and your dad

He is ok Mike, I keep
He is ok Mike, I keep thinking of you but feel so tired lately... When I write to you I want to share more info with you but can't seem to do it... Sometimes talking seems to be an easier task than writing... His platelets were down to 20 and then went up 37 then 43. WBC was like 6.8 at discharge but went down to 5.6 then after shot went up to 19 something... Hct is ok around 33 if I recall correctly... We saw the doctor last Wednesday and dad had a difficult time to walk even to the wheelchair 3 steps he said he felt tired very tired though then later it went away... Last three days he has been eating better... But still picky and don't know what he wants usually. I just hope and pray you and my Dad both will have clean results... I hope dancoman I think that's his userid here he had it come back at the 102 day check.. I hope he goes into remission again... I know I haven't written but believe me you are in our thoughts and prayers and many times I wanted to write but as I said I want to share more info with you details and couldn't get myself to write... Dad says hi and he appreciates you asking of him, the whole family does too Mike. PLEASE be careful about not touching dirt for a yr, I 'm sure they told you about it... Also, Regarding yogurt they have mixed info as to whether it is safe to consume or not so Dad decided not to eat yogurt to be on the safe side... How are you doing? Are you going into work at all? Don't overdue it as it can probably setback recovery time... Last night Dad was doing some floor exercises leg raises etc :) he got a cute way of doing them... Are you a smoker? That was another biggie one of the nurses shared with us not to smoke or be around smokers for at least two yrs as one of the chemo you both were given can effect the lungs in acute or chronic form...
Hoe are your bloodwork levels and do you still get any transfusions? I don't know why I feel so tired.... Take care Mike and please let us know how you're doing?
    Regards...

    I'm feeling pretty down now,
I'm feeling pretty down now, Dad has been having lowe abdominal discomfort or what he doesn't share much... yesterday he said he probably sat too long leaning forward playing game online so his groin area bones hurt... today mom noticed him lowering his pjs under his stomach and asked if similar to before... he was feeling discomfort tenderness before after 8 rchops and when he had petscan the lymph nodes had grown... :(
mom asked if he wanted larger pjs he said no...
now he is just laying down and says stretching his lower abdominal groin area that way since he thinks it happened from sitting too long for past few days... and i sometime notice he is pulling his legs upward toward his stomach like babies do for some reason maybe finds comfort that way andthen a little later they are straight out again...
i noticed him pushing his pjs down below his stomach just a little ago and asked him if his abdominal area hurts too if he has pain, he said no, i then said you lowered your pj that's why i asked and he got upset saying did i say i have pain... i wish he would tell us all of his symptoms little and big in detail so we don't have to question him ... but he won't complain unless it is like 10/10 :(((((((((((((((((((((((((
i'm feeling very sad, i hope it is not the cancer :((((
