Doing well after 3-years.

I like to check in now and then and share positive news. On April, 2009 they found that I had colon cancer and a month later I had a tumor the size of an orange removed in a colon resection. I was staged 2-A and went through a rough ride of chemo that I couldn't complete. I just had my 6-month regular CT scan and no cancer was found and my CEA has remained constant at 1.9. I'll be 71-years old in a couple of weeks and I'm happy to be alive and I wish you all the best in your battle against this nasty disease. Just keep up the good fight.

Those are the updates we love to hear and thanks for posting it. Glad that your scan and everything is good. Are you still flying? I'm a fearful flyer and only do it when necessary which isn't very often. Congratulations on the great news.

    Flying isn't for everyone.
Many people don't like flying. Only do what you enjoy and enjoy what you do to the fullest. :)

    Flying
Ever since I was 5 and flew for the first time I've loved flying. Some of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen were from an airplane such as the Painted Desert at sunset, icebergs and floes around Greenland and the Grand Canyon at 10,000 feet over the rim from the boomers pod of a KC-135.

But since my last flight, I hate flying and that's all thanks to the TSA. Leaving Philadelphia, a TSA agent instead on groping my service dog because the zippers on her vest set off the metal detector. He didn't like it when asked if he thought there was 180 pound terrorist stuffed inside a 40 pound dog.
