    Cruise time for me We are going on a cruise to St. Thomas and St. Maarten. I'm also going to Treasure Island for a couple of days with my oldest son so I can play on the beach with my grandkids. He said they will have more fun playing with Grandma then they will with Mommy & Daddy.

    I leave in 1 week for a cruise to the Carribean. My last one a month ago had to be canceled due to my mother's health. The cruise line did refund most of my cruise since we were unable to go. We had our room keys and everything when my brother called to tell me my mother had taken a turn for the worse. She passed the day after I got back. It is really bittersweet. The month of May was one of the worst I've ever had including my BC diagnosis and treatment. Thanks for listening.

    I am so terribly sorry about your Mother's passing....it's incredibly hard to lose a Mother...to me it was like losing the only person who loves us unconditionally....I pray that the loving memories of her will help to sustain you and your family at this sad time.....

    Thank you so much Nancy. I really appreciate it. It has been so hard especially when I'm pretty sure there were problems with her intial doctors. I haven't had the heart to delete her numbers from my cell phone yet.

    My brother in law just called and he has in one day organized a three day trip to Universal Studio's, looks like the grand ones will get to go too so I am super excited!

    Vacations!!!
    We went to Las Vegas in April to celebrate my completion of treatment. We met my sister and her husband there and had a blast. We had never been there and we really enjoyed the people watching, lights and activity! We saw "Jersey Boys" and Rod Stewart. Memories for a life time! This summer we'll be roasting at home (it's been how here too!) and visiting our new grandson in IL. I can't hold him enough! In the fall we're going on a cruise through the Panama Canal. We had to cancel a cruise last fall due to my treatment and I'm going to make this one if it kills me!

    Come August we are headed for MAUI, HAWAII!!! It's been 11 years since we last visited this tropical paradise. We are so jazzed and we are looking forward to taking the plunge, feet first, into everything HAWAII has to offer.

    I love Hawaii~
    We were there a few years ago, it was the best vacation of my life! We did Maui, Kauai & Oʻahu. Kauai is my favorite! I really want to go back! Enjoy!

    Going back to New York..just came back from a girls weekend and now goingn back with my kids and husband...they love New York...

    just got back from Disney
    just got back from Disney World...

    poured most everyday due to Hurricane off the coast..but we had FUN...had both our daughters and both grandsons...a week at Disney in rain is better then any week home at work..

    LOTS of pix...great memories....once again...

    Janie: so sorry to hear....just remember the good times...it's hard i know..My dad died when I was 19 and my mom 5 yrs ago..but I try to remember the good and let the bad go...

    We got back a week ago, we went to Mammoth Mountain just outside of Yosemite for a week of family camping. There were only ten of us this time (down about 6)but we had fun. There were three states represented, California, Texas and Arizona. I will post a few pics if anyone is interested. If you are on fb you know I already posted a ton on there LOL!! My husband and I are going to Monterey in early August for four days with his job (bonus thing), we are hoping for good weather so we can go kayaking in the ocean.
