    Congrats!
Keep it in the past and keep moving forward! My one year cancerversary is this month. May 16th found the lump, May 23rd had the biopsy and May 25 - the day they told me it was cancer. I get the oddest looks when I mention my cancerversay! Those 3 days will be embedded in my brain forever! Everyone here gets it and understands! Thanks for always being there!

Debi: oddly my dr whom Ilove and had for years...never said cancer...I called him (now for blood tests have to go in ofice most of time) but he said to me: exact words I'll not forget...

"not bad but not good" "DCIS call a surgeon"!

I got off phone looked up online first word to pop up was Cancer!

I left notes by phone (shame on me) my then 16 yr old saw and looked up and called me in panic..

    Denise

I was ok at surgeon for most part until heard "survival rate" rest a blurr...but had husband and friend (also BC) with me to hear the rest..

Wow, I can't imagine finding out that way. I had never even heard of "DCIS" until all of this happened. Have to say, I've learned quite alot since then.
