    just relax
This week was hard. Too much work and stress and I'm mentally really down. Thorsten is doing well but my grandmother is in hospital since yesterday - seems she got brestcancer (with 85 :-( ). Phew, I've really had enough bad news now and I feel "out of energy".

But the weather is supposed to be fine... spring finally (yeah!) and perhabs we will do some geocaching. Didn't do this since all the trouble started in Nov... Some more geocachers here?

    Hi Pepe
Nothing too exciting for this weekend. I've been sick for four days with the "crud of the head and chest". Hubby is cooking corned beef, cabbage, and red potatoes for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow for us, son, and grandson. Sunday is my birthday and I'll officially become old. Will try and go to Joe's Real BBQ(really good stuff) for my FREE birthday meal, if I feel up to it.

Everyone take care and enjoy the weekend.

My dear beau's birthday is Saturday....
So, in the true dutch tradition, we will be at home...with plenty of cake, and coffee, and munchies for all of the well-wishing visitors....

Sunday is a swapmeet in Apeldoorn...

A little over 2 weeks to the switch to American...planning a trip to the Keukenhof (flowers) for next weekend, where there will be traditional dress from all over The Netherlands on display...and, the tulips are out in full force...

    Dutch knuffels, Kathi

We will be going to an artshow in a Greenhouse. Getting ready for spring. The weather in Edmonton Canada has been beautifull, around 7 to 10 deg.

Lately have some lower belly discomfort, scan scheduled for may. Keep fingers crossed all is well.
Daughter still fighting a balance problem ( MS) now looking at another MRI for that. Is on Techratol which also causes problems. When it rains it poores.

    Feeling icky
I'm really not feeling well, so tomorrow I am going to rest as much as possible. Sunday we will go to church, and then we're meeting our son and daughter in-law for lunch. Sunday night I will conduct a youth meeting.

In between it all, I'm going to watch basketball. March madness is on, people!!! Go, Wolfpack!!!

    *hugs*

We are getting ready for the last winter storm. I will be chopping firewood for use for the next three days. We have movies ordered and will go on a walk in the morning so, we can hunker down until Tuesday. We moved to the mountains to get away from the pollution and rat race of the city. It has been a good change so far.
    Best Always! mike
