Second Cycle of Nexavar

Each day is a new day! Votrient was not a drug tolerable for me, and I really wanted to take it, as is new and seems to work for many. After two cycles, Doc stopped it as side effects were off the chart. Two weeks later started Nexavar, after 15 days, more side effects. Doctor stopped the drug for a week, side effects gone, and now starting second cycle of Nexavar at one half of original dose. This is the third day on second cycle of Nexavar. I want it to work for me and everyone else taking any drug! Remember everyone here on CSN, no matter what side effects happen, keep trying!

    Giving it a try
This might be the dose level that gives you results without such bad side-effects. You've got the right attitude and we'll all pray that this is now the formula to do the job. As you've said, adobe, we keep on trying. There are also other things in the pipeline to back up and improve further on the newer therapies that have been developed in the last few years. Good luck with the rest of this round and keep us posted.

    thankful for treatments
Very encouraging that there are other things in the pipeline, and that research is going forward. My doctor said I just hit a little bump in the road, so I got over my panic attack that there would be nothing I could take.
Thanks, Texas, nice to hear from you and how are things going for you? Keep us posted.

Thanks, Olsera. I am using creme on my hands and wearing cotton mittens when needed.
I am ok with tolerable discomfort if the drug is working. Beautiful snowstorm here today, a good excuse to stay inside, and let my husband put the logs on the fire. Hope your day is good also!

    Hi Adobe,
I don't know if this will help with the skin discomfort or not but I have had Psoriasis for 18 years now & used to get it severly on my hands & feet. One thing that helped to take away the pain & discomfort was to put a nice thick, heavy cream on my feet & hands & wrap them in saran wrap & put gloves & socks on that is how I would sleep it helped quite a bit I even would do my legs when they were really bad.

Hello Olsera - thanks for the info. What kind of creme did you use? I am using Udderly Smooth recommended by the Nexavar team. How are you doing now with Psoriasis, and other health issues? Hope today is a good day for you!
