Ionized water - Alternative Cancer Treatments?

For most of early stage kidney cancer patients, we are just told to follow 6mon or yearly scan after the surgery. I am wondering whether anyone has information on alternative cancer treatment. Many researches have shown that an acidic body has high risk of having cancer. Does anyone have experience with using ionized water?

    Alkaline
I have read a lot of articles on the net about the claims of eating alkaline foods and ionized water to prevent disease. I have also read that most of it is nonsense. That being said, water in general is good for you and most alkaline foods are also very good for you, such as spinach. I personally think eating more fruits and veggies, lots of water, minimal processed foods, don't eat excess protein and salt, and plenty of exercise are some of the best things anyone can do along with a positive outlook. Just my two cents!

    Exactly what Rad said, and
Exactly what Rad said, and Ive been doing it since my surgery. Believe it or not lemons are one of the best alkalizing fruits out there. A llemon squeezed in a glassof waster a few times a day has been on my "healthy" eating regiment.

    Right on Rae...
I agree with Rae too, gave up beef, pork, and grapefruit, oh, and I added lime to my beer.

    Changed a whole lot
No dairy, almond milk, org chicken and ocean caught fish, low glycemic, green drinks, lots of lemon the most alkaline thing there is in water. Lots of veggie indian type dishes with tumeric and a smoothie every day with cinnamon.

    Dietary change
Sounds quite tasty. Care to share the source(s) of your new diet? What's the reason for the vegetarian Indian dishes (had a couple in the past few days myself - absolutely delicious). Main ingredients of your smoothies?

Despite my good sense, and health care knowledge, My diet continues to fall way behind everyone elses. My major weakness. I gotta work on this.

    Me too, Fox.

LIke you, I'm sure, I believe in balance and my diet is now so healthy that i think I need to work in some more wine and whisky to achieve a proper balance :-)

What do you need to do? If you tell us, we can keep an eye on you and come after when you've been a bad boy.

I'd be like a chronically scolded school boy. As spring continues to approach, I'll be exercising more intensely, and then my diet improves dramatically. I keep using the same excuse for everything. After my next scan, then.......

    Diet Change
We changed our diet to alkaline. We manage water via testing of each. We use evian which is the most alkaline. We subscribe to the Alkalize or Die book which has helped us perfect our diet in addition to consulting a nutritionist. We have not had any spread of disease while on sutent and the diet change. My son and I both feel that the diet change has augmented his response. Feel free to email me if you would like further details.
