DO NOT TO MEAN TO BE PETTY SINCE MY WIFE HAS BEEN BLESSED WITH YEARS OF GOOD LIFE WITH STAGE 4 LUNG CANCER BUT.. HAD PORT REMOVED AND IT LOOKS LIKE A KID DID IT. MAJOR SCARE AND OVER LAPING SKIN. IS THIS NORMAL??

I wouldn't get too excited. Had mine removed 2 months ago. It was in for 2 1/2 years. They get attatched and are hard to remove. I was awake, only novacaine. It will definately leave a mark. Have the Dr. look at it and reassure you. It will be OK. Be happy if that's all that's left. Concider it a battle scar and move on. I hope she's OK otherwise.0 -

Congrats on getting it removed! I have only had mine in for a few months and already can't wait for mine to be removed. Talk to your Dr. to be assured! But I would also feel like it would be my scar showing I won the battle this time! This is another blessings!!!0
