    Glad to see you..
    Hi Denise,
Sorry about the computer problems, they can be such a pain in the butt, but I'm very happy to see you are back with us. I've missed you and many times wondered how things were going with you. Sounds like the "watch and wait" period is over for you. The two drugs you mentioned are good for shrinking the swollen nodes/tumors, so hopefully this will be the fix you need to get things under control. You will probably be weak and tired throughout your treatment, but keep your eye on the prize when it's completed..."Remission"! Your strength and energy will come back slowly, so be patient and just take it one day at a time. Please let us know when you start your treatment and remember we are always here for you. Hang in there friend...my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Much love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    Hello there
    Denise,
Been thinking about ya'. Yep,it sounds like the waiting is over as it stands. I was on watch and wait for only 3 weeks. I do not really know why it was decided to start the chemo for me. I did not have any test in that 3 week time period. I just went back to the Onc. and he said we are going to start chemo in the next month. Those computers are funny sometimes. You jump on one day and BAM it crashed. Hang in there and keep us updated,ESPECIALLY WHILE YOU ARE GETTING YOUR CHEMO. WE REALLY NEED SUPPORT IN THOSE TIMES. We are here for you. John(FNHL-4-1A-5/10)

    Chemo
    Dear John,

I am sorry you have to start chemo again. Do you know which chemo??
I am a bit surprised you didn't ask the doctor why? Let us know when
you get this info. I am sure the doctor has a very good reason. I say
that because you always sound good when you post.

I will be thinking of you. Maggie

    No Not Yet !!!
    Maggie,
I do not have to have more chemo. I was just telling Denise how it was with my watching and waiting way back when I was first diagnosed in 2010. I was only watching for 3 weeks and I was told they are going to start the chemo. At the time I knew nothing at all about what was going on. I did not have anyone to ask about it. I did not even know this board existed back then. Thank you for the concern though. John

Good thoughts for you too !!!!
    Maggie,
I read things sometimes and have to go back and reread because I missed something. Happens all the time to me. I sometimes relate it to lingering chemo brain. The good thing is I can watch reruns on TV and its like watching for the first time. LOL. John

    Jim,
I am hoping the same thing on this end. It seems the "R" is holding pretty good for a lot of people. The new drugs I am hearing about seem to even have greater promise. John

    Headaches
    Dear Denise,

I am so sorry for your headaches. Do you get headaches often? I don't get headaches
often. When I do, I just can't stand it. Since I really don't medicate often, I always
take something strong (Aleve) for the headache to go away. No use fooling around waiting for the headache to go away with minor medication. The Aleve also helps with my hip problems,
and right knee for the whole day.

I hope you feel better by the time you read this post. Prayers and blesssings. Maggie

    Hang Tight !!!
    Denise,
I can imagine all the things that are probably going thru your head right now. There could be any number of reasons they do not want to say the results over the phone, but I know the reasons that are probably going thru your mind. Try not to think that way. When we are left with our thoughts the mind goes to all kind of places. We are all the same in that respect,at least I know I am. It could be they just want to discuss something about your treatment and don't want to discuss it over the phone. You only have to wait until tomorrow which seems like forever right now so try to keep yourself calm and see what they have to say. No matter what it is there is always a plan. Hope this helps. John

    Prayers your way
    Dear Denise,

Of course I will say a prayer for you. By now you would of seen the doctor. Did you
tell the doctor about your headaches?? If you feel up to it, please share the results
of the Pet Scan and your visit with the doctor. I have never been given the results of
any test on the phone. I can understand why your doctor hesitated. When I am scheduled to have some test, I always make an appointment a few days later with my oncologist or my
    internist.

I am sorry about the problems with your daughter. All of us at one time or another have
problems with our children, husbands, and friends. It seems these problems get worse
when we have stress about other things. Especially our health. Drama, who needs Drama?

Here is an extra prayer to you. Blessings to you also. Maggie
