    HA HA
Love you guys -- too funny! Love the good news, too!!!

    colonoscopy
I had mine scheduled for April 27th last year, and we woke up to tornadoes here in Alabama. Power outages, traffic jams, etc., made it unclear if I could get to the appointment on time. My wife commented that we might have to reschedule. I told her, "After the cleaning out I went through last night, somebody somewhere is going to stick a light up my butt!"
    LOL!

    You all having me laughing
You all having me laughing so hard! I know what I'll be thinking about at my appointment. I hope I don't talk in my sleep while I'm under. LOL

Remember when Groundhog's Day meant Spring was right around the corner? And... it was time to start thinking about spring cleaning. Talk about spring cleaning.....YIKES!!! The prep is no fun but the procedure itself; is not even memorable. You'll do fine.
Glad to hear your tests have blessed you with good news. Now. that is a tune you can dance too. I wish you many more good reports.

    prep
For those weight concious people. I 've known women who have said that they would remove their wedding band if they thought it would make a difference when they weigh themselves. Well here is a chance to be at your lightest! Keep a scale handy. The prep is your friend.

    Colonoscopy
Welp, I had my first colonoscopy. Good news, the doctor didn't see the Groundhog. LOL!! Everytime I think of these past posts, I burst out laughing. Hope you all don't mind my warped sense of humor. It's what keeps me going most days. LOL

I had 4 diverticula (pockets), but I'm all good for now and don't have to go back for 5 years on that. Strange as it sounds, I thank God for the diverticulitis, or they probably wouldn't have found my kidney cancer until it was too late.

As to prep day, my doctor prescribes Half Litely.......it wasn't bad at all. You take a pill and then drink that stuff, which wasn't bad at all either. I sucked each glass down with a large straw, so it went down fast. Only bad part of it was we got caught in the area of a wreck on the interstate and it took 3 hours to make a 30 minute drive. I was 2 hours late for my appointment! Thank GOD they waited on me. I called them several times begging them to wait. I did not care to go through the liquid diet/prep day thing all over again. When I got there, they asked me to sign a form saying they'd give me Propofol. I said, "Isn't that what they used to kill Michael Jackson"? LOL

Anyway, hope everything is great with everyone here. Have a great upcoming weekend.

    Blessings,
    Lisa
