Prostate Cancer Pony Express

I signed up to ride in the Pony Express this year.

Going to be a part of a chain that will ride motorcycles through every state from Mar - Sept with the end of the ride carrying the names of prostate cancer victims and survivors for presentation to Congress in support of additional support for prostate cancer research and nationwide awareness and testing.

Luckily, I won't have to make the entire ride! I just ride fromn Charlotte, NC to Winston-Salem, NC. :-)

    Interesting Event
Looks like an interesting and worthwhile event.

Here's a link to the proposed route, which is takes a very circuitous path around the USA (including Hawaii & Alaska): http://prostatecancerponyexpress.wordpress.com/2012-route-card.

I still have the gear but haven't owned a motorcycle for years. The ride is planned for 4/16/12 from SF to Sac which is a very short and easy run which I'd be happy to join if I still had a bike but I don't think I'll be buying another one soon.

However, if you can't or don't ride, you can also sign up as a "virtual" rider for $20 to show your support for the cause, which is what I think I'll do.
