I had my surgery Friday ( open radical left) , and I am back home today. There were a few days there that were rough going. But I made it through. My temp was up at first then on Sunday my heart rate went way up. But I prayed and had many others praying for me. And I am home today.I still a ways to go but I feel so much better than Sunday night!!! Bless all of you for your well wishes and prayers

Nancy

    NanaLou,

I am still trying to figure out a way to sugar coat the surgery. Too bad you have to go thru this initiation to join the club. May all of your follow up tests show nothing. May I have your share of the Turkey.

    Best wishes,

Yeah, the first few days are tough but they go by. I couldn't believe how weak I was at first but I was jogging ,weight training and golfing in 4-5 weeks. You will never miss that old kidney of yours. Just work on getting better. You are now back in charge.

    Welcome back!!!
    NanaLou,

Pardon my post turkey day humor, but you are a tuff ole bird. Seriously though, its good to hear you are doing so well and nice to have you back. Now get some much deserved R&R and let the rest of the family pamper you for a while, you won't believe how good you'll be feeling by X-Mas.

    Thoughts and prayers,

    Gary
