Got home from running around and turned on the TV instead of taking a nap. Fantastic documentary on HBO called "The Education of Dee Dee Ricks". A hedgefund professional, Dee Dee lived in a 14 million dollar apartment in NYC. She was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. This is her story and how she bonded with a black woman who had no insurance. I won't reveal the story except to say it is moving and powerful and will show you that there are good people out there.....
my eyes are still burning from the tears.....so glad tho that I didn't take the nap and watched this moving documentary. Look for it
