Twitchy Lips and Earlobe Lumps

Yes..I know it sounds like a punk band from the 70's but...
does anyone else have these (very minor I will admit, but would like to get rid of) issues
and knows how to make them go away.

1. Twitchy Lips
My lips feel like they are vibrating or twitching almost all of the time.

2. Ear Lobe Lumps
I cannot put earrings in my right ear, it feels like there is a hard lump inside.
When I do jam earrings through the lump (I never said I was not vain, or particularly
bright)it gets sore and maybe makes a new lump.

I know these are the smallest of issues..but figured someone probably had an answer.

Thanks
Stacey

    No control
I had a neck dissection July 22, frequently I feel like I have no conrol of my lips, not a twitcky feeling though, just no control. This should be interesting when I go back to work after Thanksgiving, I am a Kindergarten teacher!
Ear on the left side (same side as neck dissestion) hurts. No way am I going to try to put on an earring, hurts to just put on cream--seems to be very dry skin after radiation.
Vainity has not been a problem. I had 1 inch of my upper lip removed last year due to cancer. Upper lip is numb, midline is moved over, when I put on lipstick (rarely) I wonder where to put it!

    Numb lips
sink ships. Oh, I guess that's loose lips.... Anyway, I'm left with a numb spot where they dividid my lower lip to enter for my radical resection last year. Makes me drool at night. I can't whistle any more either, which really bugs me. Especially at football games, cause I can't yell anymore either.

    Hi Stacey

On the Lip it is a nerve that is causing the twitching, I had it for a while before I got this infection in my Mastoids from Diving, now it is just numb and I don’t feel anything. You can ask your ENT about it but more them likely they will tell you nothing they can do about it, just a side affect of radiation. There is a medicine you can try to see if it will help it is called Lyrica, Google it and see if you think it will help. I am using it and it has done wonders for the nerve problem in my face

Sorry I can’t help on the ear lobe lumps.

    Take care

    I Guess
I guess I will have to take your word on the water. Just packed away my wide brimmed SPF hat and Spf shirt, guess I could take them out again but, it is getting cold here. Here comes the fleece (and my new wide brimmed SPF winter hat!). I do enjoy eating fish and luckily my brother-in-law and nephew enjoy fishing (in water on the opposite side of the US than you) and I have enjoyed their catch. Husband found a good spot for trout this summer and the water was still cold from all of the snow runoff, yum.

    Not fair Hondo
I would never get Jim on that little puddle jumper. If I could I would be living on that beach every day and night. Beautiful.

    Cold - Hot
In Florida, we turn our heat on at night and AC on during the day most of the winter, LOL....
