I'm recovering from small bowel cancer and have found very little information online. I noticed these posts from 2004. I'd like to hear from anyone who has or had small bowel cancer.

    adenocarcinoma of the small intestine
I hope your dad is doing well with his treatments. I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the small intestine (located in the jejeunum) in August 2009 at age 35. I had an emergency small bowel resection surgery where the doctor removed the tumor and about 7 inches of my small intestines. In October 2009 I started FOLFOX chemotherapy and finished this past March. So far the blood tests and CT scan are showing everything is clear. Unfortunately, I developed peripheral neuropathy because of the chemo.

    Same cancer as you
Are you still going through chemo I am just starting the chemo and have the same as you let me know would like to talk with you.

    connecting with others

Can I suggest the yahoo group

    http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/duodenalcancer/

It has someactive participation and a database put together by one of the members

Also if you type in Yahoo scholar alert + duodenum cancer or whatever your specific interest and you can get all the articles from medical periodicals (much of it is in medical speak) but I found it reassuring that research is being done.
