Rituxin now what?

I have follicular lymphoma and am on rituxin for two years. I am in remission now.
What happens after I finish my rituxin? Is there another drug I go on for maintenance?

Richard

    Future maintenance
Hey Rick nice to see you back.Where you been? We are all doing pretty good over the past several months. As far as future maintenance there seems to always be other options to go too. John

    Hey John
I am doing great. I feel like the whole thing was just a nightmare. I go bicycling, swimming, and dancing alot. Its like it never happened. How are you doing? What I was wondering is after the Rituxin do the doctors just wait until you relapse before they begin another treatment. Hope to hear from you otherwise I hope you are doing as well as me. I have been doing so well I forgot I had lymphoma.

    Treatments
No they do not wait for us to relapse. They keep us coming back for follow ups to make sure it hasn't returned. That will go on from now on. No one can say if and when It will come back. It does have a reputation to return at sometime. That is why they keep an eye on us. There are so many other treatments out there if that happens hopefully it will again put us back in remission. John
