One yr post surgery, so doing the prep today. 1st half gallon done. another half gallon at 8pm.
Having a colostomy It is easier (to me)than before. Just empty bag every now and then in a bucket easier than running to bathroom.

Thoughts and Prayers for Good REsults
    Kenny,
I have my year post colonoscopy in two weeks as well as my 1Yr body scans and blood tests. My ONc. says if this colonoscopy is OK then won't need to do one for two years. Still on the 3 Mo. Scans for the next year. Hope and pray all is well for you.

    Best of luck mate
I will spare you a thought tomorrow when I am fishing. Going for 8 days to a river that sees very little fishing pressure. Intend to fish till I drop. Mainly chasing dusky flathead (platycephalus fuscus). They eat well and fight well and are suckers for soft plastics. I keep a couple a day for food and let the rest go. Hope all is well with you,Ron.

    Great attitude, Ken
It's something we gotta do every so often, so the best thing to do is just get to it. For sure it's never pleasant, but I've learned to make sure the stuff is cold, hold my nose, and once the glass hits my lips I don't stop drinking til the glass is empty.

    An idea
After watching my husband do his colonoscopy prep, I did a little checking from others who had gone through the procedure. A couple of people mentioned not eating for a day or so before beginning the prep because it can lessen the amount of the lovely liquid that needs to be consumed. I didn't eat solid food for two days before starting the prep and only had to drink 32 ounces. Which was fortunate because I was starting to feel nauseous. Just an idea for anyone that is able to fast for that long.
