Congratulations on your 3 year NED results! I'm approaching 2 years, tests at MDA on Monday and Tuesday and I'm both excited and anxious.

I'm also very sad right now. We lost our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier on Tuesday. It was all very sudden, he was healthy, active and playful until that day. Then he had a seizure. My heart hurt so much and I've been crying since Tuesday. Sorry to unload here about that, I know there are bigger issues in life. I just hurt so bad right now.

thanks for listening and NED wishes to one and all.
    hugs,
    Liz

    So sorry, Liz!
I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dog. It is so hard to lose such a faithful companion and I am sorry you are hurting right now. Please know that I am thinking of you.

I also want to wish you excellent results on all of your testing next week. May you get all great news.

    Hugs to you--
    Martha

Liz - I am so sorry about you losing your dog and yes it is very painful. I wish you did not have to go through this. I am such a dog lover and when I have lost my fury kids it broke my heart. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so happy about your approaching 2 years and so sad about
I am so sad about your Jack Russell Terrier. At 16 it sounds like he lived a long full life and it's so good to hear he was active and playful until that day. But how awful for you. We lost a 14.5 year old English Springer in January and my husband and I were a mess over it. Sir Albert had not had a good day in years. We realized way too late that he had cancer that probably started in his lung and went to his bones. But we finally had to put him down while he was actively dying as it was more humane once we could not control his pain. But my feeling is if you are a dog person you have to get back out there and find your new dog. We got an English Cocker ( a little smaller dog as we have to remember we are getting older and remember how much energy they take). Also our new dog, Luke was 5 months old when we bought him from the breeder and already housebroken and trained in all the basic comands. Oh so much laughter replaced those tears immediately. Good luck to you and God Bless!
    Warmly,
    Sandy

    Bless your heart!
Oh, Sandy. I know how you feel. I didn't drive either. You will start healing now!!! My mouth got so dry and so metallic at this point. Biotene is available at Walgreens/CVS to help with dry mouth, and sugar-free hard candy helps too. Soaking in the tub is good. You really will be better very soon!!! We are here for you!

    I,m new here
I,M 57 I got done with my treatments in jan 2011 .I had stage 2 to 3 Anal cancer. They wasnt for sure if it was gone .So i had a pet scan, then 3 biopsys , And then a MRI ,about 2 weeks ago my radiation Dr said every thing looks good . Now i dont have to worry so much .I;m feeling a lot better. And the frist time in 1 1/2 years i dont have pain . unless i,m having a bad day .

Hello, Welcome, and it sounds like they have tested you enough to know its gone. Let the healing continue without all the biopsys. I have never had an mri, but I believe because its soft tissue, that makes it clearer to look for any problems. You have good drs to make sure everything is clear. I wish you well Lori.
