When to end LID?

I feel like I should know this, but I don't... how long until you end the LID? Do you wait until the 1 week whole body scan after RAI, or is there another rule of thumb? No one has told me how long I'm on this lovely diet :(

    Ending LID
I was told that I could eat regular food after the third day from taking RAI. So, on day four I ate pizza! By this time your cells have absorbed all that they are going to absorb.

    well...
once they are done giving you RAI then you should be able to eat again.

I was told 6 hours after i got my RAI treatment and was told 12 hours after my 1 year out scan.

Boo!:( That is what i suspected, but it stinks, doesn't it? LOL.... I appreciate the info, though. It certainly helps to manage expectations, since I am not getting a whole lot of info at all from my doc.

    You guys rock!
