    THANKS~
Oh once more, thanks to you all for your kind words!!! I'm good for another 6-months and then the turmoil of concern starts once more.

Sue, I will tell you after my treatments my CT scan showed something on my liver...gee! Doc had me do an MRI, which revealed a "normal" growth which most likely has been there for years on end. Told to not worry as usually never known until we have higher level scans, such as CT. Thusfar, it's just normal and nothing to be concerned with...yeah!

I agree all this stuff is never-ending as one minor thing turns into some big deal, when in fact, prior-cancer days docs wouldn't flinch about it. Just the way of our lives with cancer, but truly not easy to get used to. I would love to just go to one doc and walk out with nothing to worry about. Never happens with me.....

    Enjoy the weekend...

Wonderful news to hear that the liver spot was, just that, a stupid spot.

It's always something. Or should I say, it's still always something.

    Love,

    Claudia

    Where's that beach????

    Claudia~
The beach is Destin~~ We're a family of beach people...love fun in the sun! I'm from St Louis so whenever we can get out of the cold and/or heat...we're gone! Looking at purchasing property in Florida, but tough to take the plunge as we have both our mom's in retirement homes here and we're the only caretakers or should I say, advocates for their care.

    Always something with our health....yes~

    UPDATE
I had the doc appt today and mentioned the spotting (only occurred one time and since then, nothing) and he asked if it could be from the rectal area. I hesitated as I do have hemorrhoids from giving birth eons ago. He did a physical exam and told me everything looks just fine and did the PAP smear which if there's anything at all, will show up there. CA125 was in the low/normal range...yeah! Schedule for next appt in 6 months.

I'm back down to earth and happy, but boy can this cancer scare the bagibers out of us...part of the deal I guess.

Thanks again, everyone of you are so supportive...I feel the love!

    Me too..
I was scared when I had blood spotting after intercourse. After tests, all OK...doctor said the radiation to cuff weakens the tissue in this area, plus the surgery, etc. It still happens sometime, I always report it to my doctor. The unfortunate thing was I was not informed before this happened & went into a daze, emotions, etc. the first time. Still scares me but now I know it can be this.
Glad it worked out and you are fine.

Jan, glad you got a good report
So happy to hear the spotting was nothing to be concerned about. Wouldn't it be nice if you weren't concerned and worried about it. Glad you have another 6 months to celebrate each day. In peace and caring.

    Happy for you, Jan!

I am so happy that you got good news. Its like you said. Since cancer diagnosis all the aches and pains we get now makes up jump. I recently too had a spot, but it was from my hemorrhoids. It was after I exercised and I felt something burny. It happened twice, and I called the doctor's office but they were not concerned about it. My concern was that area is where all my problems were. I had a small recurrence near my rectal area and I was the one that found it. The scans didn't show anything. I ended up having a biopsy on a spot that they thought was scarring and it was positive. I had it removed and it was negative!

But anyway, I am glad you are back down to earth and can enjoy yourself once again.
