    Pulp conundrum
Spaghetti sauce is a great place for it if you don't have chickens to feed it to. Soup stock. I chuck mine. I've tried to make veggie burgers with it but that was a disaster. HA! I've also used it for carrot cake (made with honey or agave nectar).

Ginger is a personal tolerance issue---since it packs a punch I start small. I love ginger too but had to remove it from my protocol due to the histamine content. :-(

Find a green powder that you like better. I'm sure I had to work up to the Tablespoon amount....my mother puts it in her champagne! HA! Isn't that a hoot?

I applaud you for going as GREEN as you can go. Back when I did fruit smoothies I put the green powder in them as well along with flax oil and flax seed.

Are you doing any pectin powder? My naturopathic doctor told me it helped the body identify cancer cells to pop them off. I used to put that in my juice as well. Just a thought.

    tried straining the juice
tried straining the juice after adding the powder, that seems to help....the lumps were getting to me...
don't do the fruit anymore- blood sugar issues !

    pectin powder I will try
another major favorite of mine is kohlrabi-growing it this year in my garden! Wanting to give it a try for juicing, have you tried it or turnips

    I hear ya
I don't do the fruit smoothies in the blender anymore either for other reasons, and I juice only veggies with my Champion juicer now.

I have not tried kohlrabi but do tell me how it turns out. I don't do turnips due to sensitivity issues (it's on my no-no list).

After I put in all the additions to my juice I used a whisk to de-lump. It really helped. Didn't think to use a strainer.

What I'm loving these days is cabbage--both green and red.

    Cheers!

    Ahh
Anything with ice cream in it is "gourmet".

You can't put bananas in a
You can't put bananas in a juicer, just an fyi. Winter Marie do you blend it??

I just mix whatever I have in the fridge. I buy on sale, but carrots and apples and any greens are usually it. I try and wash everything and then let it set out to dry, then cover it in paper towels and put in the fridge. Then its ready to go. The easier it is the more often I find you will juice. I also buy little garbage bags to put in the collection part of the juicer, and just throw it away when done. Makes clean up much easier.

The bullet makes a great smoothies of fruit, add a bit of ice and you have dessert, omit the ice cream~ :)

I also add Supreme greens in the veggie and supreme reds in the fruit.

Yeah Nana, blending is NOT juicing
The two approaches are different and have different purposes but one does not equate the other.

Just to clarify for those who may want to know:

Juicing extracts nutrients from the fiber creating an easy to assimilate (digest) juice, power-packed with nutrition. Blending retains the fiber and does not extract the nutrients so the digestive system still has to do the extracting. Juicing gives the digestion system a break which aids in detoxing. Also, one increases the amount of produce ingested--such as I'm not about to sit down and eat 1 lb of organic carrots in a sitting, but I juice at least a pound of carrots/day therefore I'm getting all the awesome nutrients and live enzymes of that pound.

Hope this helps anyone wanting to know the difference between juicing and blending.
