    Im here Graci,
    nice to know

    Im here Graci,
nice to know I was missed. The weather here has been so beautiful I have been outdoors. I am having a long overdue surgery on my foot on june 30 and I cant wait, I used to be an avid walker. I have pain in my left one but I took my 5 yr old grandaughter Hannah to the park and we got carried away. I climbed a hill and we walked 2 miles. My legs have been so weak. I felt so accomplished. I had to admit, I could hear Pete talking in my head to move move move. I am climbing my way back to good health.

    thanks betty
i am walking tomorrow with my old diving friends,
i have been having some almost normal days, i a scared they will end and i will
go back to pain and poolife. so far so good.
    hugs,
    pete

    gym and yoga
Now that it is summer break for me (I'm a kindergarten teacher) I have been joining **** at the gym. We are doing the eleptical climber for 30 minutes and then weights. We have also begun yoga again. I love the yoga.
We have not been out on the water much as it has been windy on our side of the island. I'm waiting for some blue skys and no wind then I'll be on my stand up board.
    Take care all.

    Aloha,
    Kathleen

    sounds wondeerful, enjoy your break

    i guess 100 steps equals 100 kilometers
its all effort that counts and the desire to improve health.

    Take heart
Pete, I know our problems are not exactly the same but I have to tell you, and only someone on here would recognize the significance. Last week I was constipated. went a day and a half before I realized it. The toilet has been my best friend for a year and a half, all night long, all morning.
I had a stomach ache and my jeans wouldnt close. then it hit me

Oh My God, I am back to normal. I had a constipated bowel all my life.
I finished chemo end of March. someday my friend you will be able to go for a walk without spotting the closest potty. and I was cleaning a drawer and there were my depends, Nappies. Ha Ha, cancer take a walk, Im back

    Weather improving
We should have two beautiful days for outside exercise in Northern Minnesota. Doing 30 minutes of Tai Chi each morning inside watching the loons and hummingbirds. The nueropathy prevents outside exercise until we have sun, no wind and warmer weather. Planning on doing gardening today to enjoy outside.

Pepencb, hope you too have weather improving so you can enjoy the outside. We envy that beautiful Hawaii weather. Enjoy the surfing and yoga in beautiful Hawaii for all of us.

    dunno about walking
I'm feeling rather stiff now and I've had a soak in a hot tub already...we'll just have to see when I try to get out of bed ;-)

I've had a good harvest of mint, parsley, rhubarb, chard, bok choy, lettuce and spinach...raspberries, elderberries, onions and peas coming along well. I planted basil seedlings today and some cosmos yesterday. I'm trying to get the back half of the garden weeded so I can plant corn and bean seeds. Last year I never got to it because I was sick and this year that part of the garden is really over-run. As long as I only gaze upon the first half of the garden, it looks great!

    Be well,
    Janine

Did my 1/2 hour Tai Chi AM and Gardening for Vit D. PM
    Janine,
I envy your beautiful garden. I planted bok choy for the first time and I see some bugs eating the leaves. Have green pepper plants and tomatoes, and planting a row of onions today. It is sunny for the first time in a week. I pruned flowers and my small herb garden. Peas drowned out. Plan to replant.

Continue enjoying it,.In this side of the world I walked a lot today despite 32 degrees and a criminal sun just imagine that in a 4 million city in the middle of the asphalt !Masochism !.
So it counts 100 Km. at least! hahaha!.
    Get fun Peter!
