I think with Avastin, the BP
I think with Avastin, the BP going "up" can be expected, but managed. Don't know about Folfuri. How low is low? Haven't you been doing a lot of walking, which helps the cardiovascular system. Hope it's just in the low normal range.

    Pressure
If our blood pressure was 11-7 we would not be around to tell about it. Ours is 120/80

    Blood Pressure
You may want to use this converter to see what Pepe's
BP rate is in US terms:

    Pepe',

Low BP can be a result of dehydration. Various medications
can also play hell with BP.

    Better health to you soon!!

We use just entire figures here Kim!
11 means 110 for ex. if you are 115 we just put the decimal figures so it would be11.5 exactly the same but just different sound! haha!

    Pepe, I always run low
Pepe, I always run low normally; 102 or 108. I'm on Folfox w/Avastin and mine was 100/60 on Sunday when I had my pump disconnected. It has also dipped down in the 90's and even the 80's when I was in the hospital with my white blood cell count down. I was dehydrated too. Have your labs been okay? Hang in there!

    Hugs,

    Pam

Labs have been quite good ( from yesterday), though white and
red blood cells are low as usual while I'm on chemo, even that both are higher than 15 days ago!, anther important question is that temperature has rise just in one day from low 70,s to high 80,s one day to the other, and quite humid ! I think it may be another aded cause.
    Hugs Pam!

My blood pressure tends to run low, anyway -- like you. But once when I was on chemo (possibly Folfox + Avastin -- can't remember now) I stood up too fast when I woke up in the morning and passed out (for a few seconds). I was fine -- but I've been v. careful ever since about getting up too fast! Take care.

    Pepe

Drink at least 2 litres of water per day, no excuses.

Washes through all the bad stuff the body is trying to get out.

Oh and BTW Fabregas is too expensive for Barca, he is almost English now anyways...Laugh

    Low Blood Pressure
Hi Pepe: In Canadian terms (i.e. metric), my blood pressure the last two treatments has dropped to 100/50 which did scare the nurse that comes every Thursday to do my PICC line. She was of course worried about the 50, not the 100. I have normally high blood pressure and take pills for it (like 140/82 or so) and my doctor can't just stop the pills. It sure made me feel very tired and listless. I am on folfoxfiri.
