AML Survivors Club

I am a 70 year old male with AML diagnosed last December 2010. Since then, I have gone through Induction, 3 rounds of Consolidation, and have made the choice to go with Chemo as my treatment of choice rather than Bone Marrow Transplant. I am currently in remission and on "maintenance" care at Dana Farber in Boston.

During the past months, I have been active on other network boards such as DailyStrength and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and within my threads have suggested the formation of a AML Survivors Club with positive feedback from other members, so I offer the same here. So this club is open to all survivors of Chemo and SCT plus, of course, anyone with questions about AML. We have made it through our treatment and offer our experience to others making this journey, plus common support for the journey we survivors have ahead of us. So please join us in our goal of making the best we can as individuals who have AML and are surviving.
