About 2 1/2 weeks ago I had my port removed, a week following the removal after the steri strips came off I discovered a lump under my incision. The lump feels more round with some protrusions and I was wondering if any of you who have had thier port removed also have a lump under their incision.

I had my port removed too.
I had my port removed too. I don't remember there being a bulge underneath the incision. Can it be scare tissue? Just a thought. Tell you doctor if it concerns you.

    My port came out last
My port came out last September and I have a lump under the skin. It get's a little better as the time goes by, it's not as hard ( thats if your is hard ) I think its were the needle went in all the time. I was told it is scar tissue and not to worry about it, but you should alway check with your doctor if you are concerned.

My port was removed in November 2021. I have a round lump where it was removed which is sensitive to the touch. Might be scar tissue, unless they didn't get it out all the way. I will ask my oncologist when I see him next month.
