Oh John, I am so happy to hear remission is still present. I know you are so relieved. I know so many of you have to wait so long for results and it breaks my heart. I am a very lucky woman that I get my results of pet scans the next day. I am so glad my doctor has no patience for waiting!! I don't have the physical report of the biopsies yet, but at least he got the verbal reports.

Congratulations on the great news John. Go enjoy this wonderful weather!

    Who?me
    Sue,
I don't know about being da man,but I am certainly relieved!!! LOL. Just waiting for the call for the "R" appt. Even thought the tumors have shrunk even more from 6 months ago I guess its routine to start the "R" as scheduled. I did not question it. I actually did not even think too. After hearing the remission word my whole body just relaxed. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)

    Thank You
    Beth,
Thank you for the response. I was nervous as a cat and it got worse the closer it got to seeing the Dr. Thinking about it for a week did not help at all. You can not imagine all the stuff (or maybe you could) that goes thru the mind. Still having a hard time shaking this extra weigh but I think it will go this summer. I love it outside and the weather has been great the past few days. Be in the 80's Friday. Take care. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)

    Thanks
    Vinny,
Thanks and I will try to keep it up.Maybe if I can do it for a few years they will come up with some sort of cure. Not just for Lymphoma, but all this stuff. All the research that they are supposed to be doing and donations they get you'd think some kind of cure is close. I hope thats where the money is going anyway. All the commercials on TV are either cancer or Hoveround anymore.LOL
I know you are back to work full and that has to be hard on you. What kind of work do you do that lets you go all day? I know at one time you had some donut shops with your brothers if I remember correctly. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)

    Hi John,

So sorry to had to wait a whole week before getting the results. Darn them. The doctor and technicians should have more of a heart. They have to put themselves in their patient's
    shoes.

Great news, Love Maggie extranodal marginal zone b cell nhl remission jan 2011

    ALWAYS WAITING
    Maggie,
It seems so many of us have to wait for results. Its not like we are waiting to see if a loan goes thru or not you know. We are waiting to see if we have to go thru more NASTY chemo treatments or not. It is very frustating to say the least. I usually jump right on things like this, but I didn't this time. Afraid I would get the report early and read something I did not understand and it would just add worry to the waiting. You know how they like to use the big words when they talk to each other. They could make it a lot simplier to say exactly what they mean without trying to impress each other with how many big words they know. I got a report one time that had about 20 or so multi-syllable words in one paragraph that made no sense at all. I asked another Dr. what it meant. He said it must be a new graduate trying to impress all the other Drs.He told me what it meant and said it was actually useless information. It had me scared for 3 days. Certainly does not impress me one bit. Thanks for the reply and well wishes. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)
