I had my surgery in September got better then they didn't find no cancer. I am stage 4 small intestine cancer. The end of January started having stomach pains again. They sent me on tests over and over. Today I went for a test at the hospital. It was an x-ray test but had to drink that stuff before the test. All my ct scans I couldn't drink the stuff today I drank 1 glass ful threw the rest up I just can't drink it I get so sick. I am not sure if it iritastes the stomach or what. My ocologist gave me a nausa medicine before the test. I still threw it up. I just have a hard time taking that stuff. I see the Oncologist on wednesday he said if they couldn't find anything then they would send me to Vanderbilt in Nashville they have better stuff there and see why I am still having pain it could be a tumor and just not see it or the scar tissue but right now no one knows. I sometimes feel so alone through all this and comeing on here helps. thanks for listening.

    never alone, Casey
Not as long as you come to this site.

I'm sorry you are having so many issues. Vanderbilt is a good place to go and I hope it is close to where you live. Try to have someone you are close to go with you - it is a big and confusing place. My sister got excellent care for her brain tumor there.

Let us hear from you and how things are going.

I know you are tired of being sick and tired - things will get better as soon as you know what's going on and what you have to do.

    Hang in there.

    Hugs!

    Hi Casey,
So sorry to hear about your cancer. This is a great web site and everyone will help you or listen to you whenever you need us. My hubby had lung cancer & passed away a year ago on the 25th of this month. I'm not even sure how I found CSN but have come on here many times a day just to keep up with everyone. Even though we're all strangers, it's like we're one because we've all been either a patient, or caregiver. I used to even come on here during the night if I couldn't sleep & someone would always be there to comfort me. So please count on us and we'll help you through this. "Carole"

    Checking in
Just checking in to see how your dr appointment went. Of course you are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Hope your appointment went well. Going to Vanderbilt sounds like a good idea. Just get the best care you can. Fay
