Today the Dr. told me the only help for my non-stop incontinence would be a Artificial sphincter. Does anyone have any pro's or con's on this. It has been 18 months since prostate removal and constant leaking.
Thanks you for the lead. After reading some of these, it sounds like it can be a 50/50 chance of it working...still in limbo. Will read a lot more before deciding.
Thanks again
From what I have read the success rate is much higher than 50% and the more praciticed the surgeon the better the success rate.
I will be using Dr Jerilyn Latini at the U of MI. she has done a number of these. I am very confident of a success surgery.
But even if its not successful- what I am living with now is totally unacceptable with a 100% failure rate. And eating creakers and not drinking any water just isn't doing that much for me.
