OK, Im back...I got a short story to tell on myself and its not very glamorous to me but im gonna tell it anyway. Mainly cause none of you are here to see me face to face. ( I get real brave when Im talking to my computer screen). I am sitting here running my tongue over what use to be my teeth's place of residence. You see I had surgery day before yesterday and my jawbone has started deteriorating I am assuming from chemo. dunno, just had several of my teeth start getting loose and starting to hurt....I ain't got enough time to hurt. So I called my local oral surgeon and now they call me smoothie, yep, their all gone, every last one. I can now touch my tongue to the tip of my nose...LMAO...I think its hiliarious, might as well, ain't a damn thing I can do about it...so now i'm running around the house looking like something from the movie "Deliverance" and have monofilament line as stitches so now I am the sex machine....LOLOLOLOL....my wife says different. She says she will not go anywhere in public with me until I get my dentures. So just to test her I told the kids to get in the car that we we're going to eat at Red Lobster. Heck Yeah !!! They all piled in (all 17 of em) and just before pulling out here comes Bashiba in her finest.....says ya'll aren't going without me, I rest my case...so here we are..picture this...the wife and I and me with no teeth...scary huh, her with a back brace on that looks just like a WWF Title Belt...and 17 kids from the ages of 6-23 yeah baby..back to back...barefoot and all...we look like the Redneck Welcome Wagon.....sorry guys and gals, there is vanity in my life but for the sake of me I just can't pass up a chance for anyone to miss out on something like this.....My wife would neuter me if she sees I put this in post but ya know what..Neutering would be good for my singing career, allowing me to hit higher notes on que. Man, ya know, life just don't get much better than this.....when ya finally figure out that your time could be short, then you have nothing to worry about just as long as ya don't make nobody ya love mad cause ya may not have time to make up to em. But it gives ya the ok to say what ya want to say, do what ya wanna do, and live like you've always wanted to live, ......but seriously folks, we got lots of friends that are memories here, we got lots of families that have no mom or dad or brother or sister, we got lots of friends that make life a day to day struggle just to stay alive or just to keep the lights on. We have got to remain vigilant in what we are here to do, and we have to love each and everyone of us, those here and those here only in memory. But what we have to strive for, is to assure each others well being is utmost in our hearts minds and souls as we do each and every day. They would want that, and we should stay vigilant to that promise to them. We have a need for stories old and new, funny or serious, because there are thousands out there that have different emotions at every second of every day, and we should try to cover all we can by diversifying our stories so that we might just reach all of the needy somehow, someway, through topics as foolish as this started but as seriously as it will end. If I ramble and touch one heart, bring one smile, or simply open ones eyes to something that was right in front of them but overlooked, then I feel accomplished that whole day. Every time I get an email from someone I feel as if I have made a contribution to their life because they thought enough to PM me, and PMs are great, and I said PMs not PMS, but this is to all of you that fight the fight, or care for those that fight the fight. We sometimes have to laugh, to keep from crying.....and I will try to keep the humor side alive from now on as soon as my partner in grime gets back to normal. So Im gonna sit here with my gums and hold vigil for Kerry S til hes back in the house with us...........now, gonna get me another cup of coffee........BRB...buzz

Pictures please! Lol. I love it!!

Gail and I went to Red Lobster, then headed home where she Proceded to officially fired herself as my navigator! We had so much fun getting around the block, every time we had to go some where, we were probably in a 2 radius. Heck, I get so turned around that I asked On Star for directions to I5, and we were, one turn and 2 minutes away. Lol Forget that we passed I5 every time we headed out for the day. I called on star, and ah... said, do you keep a history of calls, yes, oh good, can you get us back to our hotel, On camarilo, yeah- right, that's it!

    Fun, fun!!

I had lobster pizza and Gail had salmon. I wanted was the Ultimate Platter!! But no, had to be somewhat good!

    Buzz,

You are Crazy, but it's a really good crazy. You always know how to raise a person's spirit. I remember a few years ago I had two impacted wisdom teeth chiseled out and crawled back to work about 5 days later. The fool surgeon busted several blood vessels in my face so I have nice streaks down one jawbone without makeup on. You must have "cowboyed up" to have several teeth pulled at once. By the way, how much pain med did you take before writing this? LOL
Still waiting to hear exactly what Johnnybegood's treatment will be and also hoping for the best for Kerry.

    Take care,

    Gracie thank you....I am trying...
But I think that the Oncologist can use the chemo treatment and the tooth and gum issues as a related issue and have insurance pick part of it up...Mine does. I do know that since I have had cancer and chemo that most anything I try to do as far as medicine or in the medical arena, that I am not as apt to run into issues as I was when I was completely healthy. I think the chemo card doesn't need to be played unless in an instance such as yours Gracie, and I see no problem in letting them know that chemo is the problem with the teeth, and only a survivor can know this...Seems as if someone needs to find a Senator or Representative that has or had chemo and speak with them about the plight of dental hygiene after chemo...I think that any ongoing health issue deserves that extra look....In retrospect, if the infection was to stay in my teeth and gums then it is not good for the heart, and if the teeth and gums were taken care of immediately then other health issues could be resolved a lot sooner and maybe save a life or at the very least more medical costs in the long run.........buzz
