New Here
Hi, i'm new here and my mother was diagnosed last November with stage 4 colon cancer. Her cancer has spread to her ovaries, and a spot on her liver. She has had a colon resection, they didn't remove the tumor because it was too large at the time. Since January she has had chemo with Avastin every 3 weeks and also the chemo…

Just want to thank all of you!
Hello Everyone.... I don't post on here too often, but find myself diligently logging on each day to read several of the posts... I find it very encouraging to me to say the least because we all have something in common... Not long ago "Bruin" shared his fears with us and I could relate so well to what he was feeling as he…

I had chemo yesterday (day changed from Thursdays to Tuesdays). All went pretty well & I just feel a bit nauseated this morning, but not too bad. I'll be off doing errands in another hour or so. Anyhow, in spite of the fact that all went well and easily during chemo, I was dismayed to find out my CEA rate went waaayyy up…

Oh man....not again
Bobby, Your post got deleted. I hope it didn't have anything to do with my response. I hope you got a chance to read it. I think the only thing that gets people heated up more than mentioning religion on the board is when I mention all the religions at once. If spirituality and religion have helped you combat cancer, we…

I am one those people that runs on pure gut feel
Guys, I have always run my life on pure gut feel. Hell, I even asked the scary old woman to marry me on the second date. Damned if she did not say yes on the third. 4 months later that project was done. The first time I saw the brain doc, he a projected a sense of urgency about getting this damn tumor out of my brain.…

Offending People
It has been brought to my attention that this forum is not the location for talking about religion or at least not making folks feel like I am pushing religion upon them. This is certainly not the case and if I offended anyone it was not my intention. As a Christian man fighting stage 4 colon cancer I find great comfort…

I’m very proud of everyone here, and particularly of people like Sundanceh who continues to be an inspiration to all of us. I try to post every now and then just to let others know that there is hope for all of us. If I can make it so can you. So, never give up hope. Keep on fighting, like Sundanceh and the rest of the…
