angry moment
Thought I would share a moment when I almost snapped last night. As I've been reporting on, I've had ongoing issues since my surgery in Nov., and I'm scheduled for a colonosocpy on May 14th. I went to the pharmacy to get the supplies for that last night, not feeling too happy about the future "fun," but hoping that it will…

I know that…

My question is: How long will it take for my hands and feet, affected from the hand-foot syndrome, to return to "normal"? Also, when should I expect my energy level to return? I…

I have been found to have a genetic sensitivity to the 5FU so will have to start at a reduced dosage, and forego the FOLFOX cocktail until the onc sees how I handle to 5FU.…

Erbitux, Avastin and Irinotecan??
Has anyone had these infused all at once? I am getting chicken thinking of all sorts of bad reaction scenarios. I found a study that it did improve length of survival. It just seems like such a potent combo. Any advice?

Done with week 3
I really can't believe that I'm done with 3 weeks of the chemo/rad treatments. This weekend I know I'm going to spend soaking my bottom in the tub in preparation for…

Sleepy colon
Help! I had my colon resection in November (Stage 1). Ever since then my colon has been sort of sleeping and forgetting what its job is. On to Option #3

Take Time
Greetings, Everyone! Lately, I have seen a wave a newbies on this site. Many of us "veterans" have been pretty silent and even more have either "gotten on" with their lives and don't come back to post anymore, or have flown under the radar to just "peek" but not post. Still, others have sadly left us, leaving a hole in our…
