I know this sounds dumb
but who should my 'go to' doctor be? My surgeon and my oncologist work together closely, but seem to keep my primary out of the loop. I don't really care for my oncologist, I've only had a couple of appointments with him. We just didn't seem to connect. I love my primary, but it's like pulling teeth to get any test results…

Change in My Surgery Tomorrow
The surgeon has changed his mind about what he is going to do tomorrow. His PA called me this afternoon. He is no longer even going to start with the VATS procedure to see if it would work for him. He is cutting the left side of me (right where I have nerve damage pain from the nerves being nicked back when I had my BMX…

Wigs
I know I have seen on here before the name of someplace where you can get free wigs. I am inquiring for my sister who's step-daughter is going through chemo again. This young woman (26) has had chemo more than once and would now like to be able to get a wig. She lives in the Indianapolis area. Any suggestions? Hugs, Georgia

Our definition of Cancer may be wrong. If we change how we define it, everything starts to make sens
I thought it would be an appropriate starting point to use this quote from Mark Twain. “What gets us into trouble is not what we don't know. It's what we know for sure,… that just ain't so.” This sets up the question, ‘what if we made a mistake right out of the gate?’ What if everyone is pursuing an answer that lies in…

AT THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE A gorgeous young redhead goes into the doctor's office and said that her body hurt wherever she touched it. 'Impossible!' says the doctor. 'Show me.' Ta, ta to the Ta, Tas
This story was on our local news last night. Some local woman was hosting this theme party prior to her double mastectomy (prophylactic, she has BRCA 2 gene). The newspeople said that a lot of women are having "parties" like this. Really? Maybe so. I personaly know another woman who had a "shower" prior to her mastectomy…

Tamoxifen
I've only been on this drug since July 1st, but I'm asking if anyone out there has ever felt like their mental faculties ever felt 'fogged'....I know this sounds a bit crazy - but it seems like for the first few hours of taking it - I'm not to alert. I know I'm blonde, and that probably doesn't help my cause - ha, ha,…

Getting Dbl Mastectomy - need info of experiences on surgery and after

I discussed it with onco…
