Tamoxifen and headaches?
Hello...I just started on tamoxifen one week ago and have had a headache for the last four days. Since I'm generally not prone to headaches, was curious if others have had the same problem. The list of side effects provided by my pharmacy didn't include headaches, so maybe I'm dealing with something unrelated? Thanks for…

Is it standard to test after radiation instead of after completion of chemo??
I just finished with chemo. I had adriomycin, taxol and finally cytoxin. I will begin radiation in one week. My doc says he will test in 7 weeks after radiation. Is that standard? I've had many people ask why then and not now. I had a bone scan, abdominal ultrasound and a cardiogram before I started chemo. Everything…

Good news
I'm back from the dr in Tampa. He said to me "see you 6 months." We are elated and somewhere in the back of my mind, I kind of felt that would be the case. Nonetheless, we had a couple of weeks of pins and needles, waiting for yesterday's appointment. Dr. said the calcifications had been there all along, even before the…

Great way to take jello!!!
I looked up gummie bear recipe on the net. Wow this would be an easy way to get the package a day jello. It called for one "sugar free" flavored jello and 6 plain geletin mixed with 1/2 cup cold water. This glob is then heated and poured into molds to be put in the freezer for 10 minutes. I thought this was a great idea…

Tactics for Well Wishers...
Hi Rizzo15: I don't think there is any right or wrong answer to your question/dilemma. It seems that most of the women I know just handle this, according to their particular style and needs. Maybe just let everyone know that you'll "keep in touch" and they'll get the subtle message that you prefer to ring others when you…

tactics for well wishers
Rizzo, I know what you mean. You just have to be firm and realize although most people mean well they really have no idea what you are going through. Stick to your guns and let people bother you only as much as you are up to it. You can always reconnect when you're feeling better!

Tactics for "Well-Wishers"
I have a number of family members that live out of state. Symptoms of Lung Metastisis
Hi All. Haven't posted in a while as I've spent the last two weeks trying to track down the origin of some symptoms. Calcifications
I had a rare small breast cancer removed in August, 2002. The mass was less than 1 cm, the margins were clean, and there was no lympy node involvement. Two weeks ago, I had another three month mammogram, and "suspisious calcifications" were noted. The radiologist told me that there were slight changes from 2002 -- when…

Last week some of us were wondering about the breast cancer stamp. I sent an email to the USPS. This is what they emailed back to me.
