BCAN has a downloadable (pdf) phamphlet that can be printed off. I wish I had this before I went for my cystoscopy.

My mom and uncle both passed away from Breast Cancer. I am creating inspirational Breast Cancer Awareness and Prostate Cancer Awareness merchandise in their memory. All products can be customized and these products also make good Fund raisers. I invite you to take a look at my gallery. God Bless!

"Casting for Recovery® (CFR), founded in 1996, is a national non-profit support and educational program for breast cancer survivors. We enhance the lives of breast cancer survivors by offering no-cost retreats tailored to promote and support mental and physical healing through shared experiences and the learning of new skills. At the end of 2008 we have served 3,500 women through the delivery of 269 retreats, helped by over 1,000 volunteers nationwide."

I had an opportunity to attend a Casting for Recovery Retreat. It was everything wonderful and nothing bad and I would encourage any women breast cancer survivors to at least check this organization out.

This organization is devoted to support and information for thyroid cancer survivors. The website is full of great information and they offer a free informational packet upon request.
