"The five-time Tour de France winner and Number #1 New York Times bestselling author returns with an inspirational account of his recent personal and professional victories - and some failures - and an intimate glimpse into how almost dying taught him to really live."
"It is a book for sports fans and sports haters, for cycling enthusiasts and those who haven't ridden a bike since childhood, for cancer patients and the healthiest of the healthy, for anyone who has ever overcome odds... It's not about the bike, or about the sport. It's about the soul." - Cincinnati Enquirer
"Chemotherapy, Radiation, Wig Shopping, Remedies for Side Effects... and much, much more!" (serious & humorous)
"A very useful book for patients at risk for lymphedema or with existing lymphedma, as well as their relatives... A good practical resource for professionals." - Saskia Thiadens, R.N., Founder and Executive Director, National Lymphedema Network
My personal experience/journal with malignant Paraganglioma
I found these "The Nanny" dvds to be very funny. Laughter is very important for cancer survivors during and after the treatments. I have rented two of "The Nanny" dvd series. And I just laugh and laugh and laugh. She reminds me of "I Love Lucy".
