what to eat--and what not to eat--based on the advice of experts
A friend lent me a copy of the video Forks over Knives. I feel like I need to do anything I can do to control the spread of cancer in my body. Surprise that sugar feeds cancer, chicken "feeds" cancer cells, milk causes an allergic reaction in everybody's body that actually draws calcium OUT of the bone. This movie includes "The China Study". What do I eat then? Eat nothing "that had a mother". Yes that includes fish, eggs, cheese too. Learn to eat Vegan and love the taste of food. Not just grass, delicious warm dishes that include sweet potatoes, lots of vegetables, fresh fruits, yummy flavors. Everything tastes better. We were the only country in the world that drank another animal's milk. All animal fats have cholesterol. No plant fats have cholesterol. Watch this yourself. You will think twice before you eat or buy certain foods. VERY hard to get a vegan meal in most restaurants and the good Vegan restaurants in NYC are packed all day.
Anal cancer is a malignancy occurring in the anus or anal orifice: the endmost gastrointestinal tract opening. It is where solid waste exits the body and it has two sphincter muscles. Usually, this cancer is a squamous cell carcinoma of either a keratinizing or non-keratinizing nature. It is a very rare cancer type that manifests symptoms similar to hemorrhoids. This is one of the reasons why this condition is diagnosed late; some anal cancer patients mistake it for simple hemorrhoids.

When I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, I tried seeking out books on the subject. I was a bit disappointed to learn that there wasn't a whole bunch of written information to choose from. However, I found Lorna Brunelle's "Dirty Bombshell: From Thyroid Cancer Back to Fabulous!" book truly invaluable. It has valuable information, light humor, dark humor, poignant reflections, and everything in between! In 2 weeks I'll be receiving my I-131 radioactive treatment and I'm happy to say that I am less afraid and more informed than I was before reading this book. Lorna's eloquent ability to chronicle all of her fears, vulnerabilities, and experiences in this book has made thyroid cancer a lot less intimidating. Thank you, Lorna and God bless!
