The goals of the National Wilms Tumor Study Group are to increase the survival rate of children with Wilms tumor and other renal tumors of childhood, to study the long-term outcome of children who have been treated successfully for Wilms tumor, to identify adverse effects of treatment for Wilms tumor, to study the epidemiology and biology of Wilms tumor and to make information regarding succesful treatment strategies for Wilms tumor available to physicians around the world.This site has a great FAQ section for patients, survivors and their caregivers.
