B.E.S.T. Friends meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month from 7 - 8:30 pm., at the ACS office building. This is a peer lead support group and includes women at all stages of treatment for breast cancer. The newly diagnosed, the survivor and those with metastatic disease are all welcome. Meetings are informal and confidential. Educational programs are offered periodically. This group is independent and not affiliated with ACS or the local hospital.
Professor Plant (herself a breast cancer survivor) gives her anti-cancer diet plan ie removing all dairy products from you diet and eating mostly organic fruit and vegetables.
