Just an inclusion, which is a fancy word for surgery scar tissue with fluid build up aka a cyst.

So doc says it's just an inclusion which is scar tissue with fluid behind it, a very fancy word for cyst.  I have a lot of scar tissue from the surgery.  I requested to biopsy for peace of mind anyway since the lump is hard but she said she can't justify when I just had a clean scan and she doesn't see the need for it, she's not at all concerned by it.  I have to take that at face value.  We'll revisit it in 6 months and deal with it if it grows but it's not dangerous in any way even if it grows, just a nuisance.  Best part of the visit was when she said she'd have to do a rectal exam (as always) and I said "well you can sure try" (as always).   ..... I haven't had a rectum in 4 years so it always make me giggle.  It's the only silver lining in all of this.

I think I'm going to try to take a step back (again) and try to remember that not everything is cancer (again) and maybe take up some sort of gentle yoga so I can work out the anxiety that cancer has put into my life.  I'm finally able to do some exercise without pain using the recumbent bike.  Goal is to knock off the 40 lbs I've put on in 5 years since this all started.  Down 9 lbs in 3 weeks.  Physical therapy has been a real God send with my pain and abdominal, foot and leg cramping and I think all cancer patients should have it as part of treatment.  I am officially considering myself cancer free mentally (again) so I can stop stressing over every lump and bump, have to get back to a normal, relaxed brain again (which I've said at least 10 times now).    Helen Smith, former cancer patient (who am I kidding, knock on wood, don't want to be too cocky about it).  As always, for those still in the fight, keep on trucking!  One step in front of the other.

Thanks for checking on me Sue!  I love you too.

    Wow Girl!

Great news! I was worried to death for you and prayed that is nothing. I was convinced i had a melanoma on my temple for a week and turned out to be nothing. I don't think this worry will ever end. The only thing we can do is shorten the time of anxiety and follow up.

yeah Girl! Time to take your life back. All the best,

    Laz

    Yay!

So glad to hear the doc says it's nothing.  So understandable that you were worried it wasn't.  I'm glad the PT is helping. Sounds like you're taking good care of you.  Traci

PS - Loved seeing Sue's Happy Man dancing for you.

Great to hear, and a load off

Great to hear, and a load off for you, I'm sure. Work has me in pretty good shape, but I should get on that eliptical as a routine to combat the slow weight gain that's creeping up on me. Glad your feeling better.............................................Dave

    I was banned from exercise

I was banned from exercise for 3 years, my doctor is worried about hernias and prolapses.  Sadly weights are out for life.  I can do cans of vegetables for my arms at least.  So glad we finally found something I can do. The fat wasn't even trying to creep, it had taken over and was planting flags!  lol

Are one pound weights out, too?

Seems like they would be much easier to  hold than  veggie cans, especially he one with a neoprene coating.
