    I found your comment rather

rude...I realize you are fairly new, so before asking it might be helpful to click on the person's name so that you can see their history and journey. You'll learn that those of us who have been on these boards for a while recognize people's names. We are all very sensitive, especially having gone through so much in our battle with cancer. Please be a bit more careful in the future, before suggesting that someone might be a snake oil salesman. In my opinion, these boards are meant to help each other and each of our path's are different.

    Rude?

Not rude, just alert enough not to waste my time or anyone else's for a thing posted  by a CPA out to make money by selling more of his books.  Guess I thought this site tried to be free of that type of misinformation.  Sorry to have wasted my time.  I have some magic beans for sale.......

    I'm with you Sasu

I might not use such strong language, but you are obviously tired of people trying to make a buck from others' pain. We have no proof that anyone on here even has cancer. There are people who will pose as a victim just to enrich their bank accounts. That's why they end up "surviving" miraculously and get richer. Sending false hope to a terminal patient just happened and it's the lowest of the low in my humble opinion. Thank you Sasu for speaking up.

I'm suggesting that you do research... a lot

Sasu, you may stay ignorant if you wish to.   I’ve seen others in my life time who do not wish to do their own research.

For you and everyone to know, this film can be seen FREE.    FREE on Youtube, starting here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqJAzQe7_0g   I’d suggest that you watch it before you give comments or opinions about it.    I’ve been on this forum much longer than you.   I went thru ‘treatment’ long before this film came out.    I honestly wish it had been available back in 2010, I might very well not have had a mastectomy.   My decision back in 2010 was made because 15 years earlier I had read Dr. Virginia Livingston-Wheeler’s book, ‘The Conquest of Cancer’.   It told of her pioneering work and warnings about chemotherapy.    I’ve provided numerous copies of that book to friends who were diagnosed… all who went ahead with chemotherapy, and subsequently died.    I know I told myself way back then, if I ever got breast cancer, I would just ‘lop it off’.   My late mother-in-law, in her 70’s, got breast cancer when she was in a rest home, with early dementia, and I felt the huge lump on her breast (half the size of my fist), and then called her doctor.    She got a mastectomy because if left untreated, it would have become a horrible open wound.    She bounced through that mastectomy and was pushing around with her wheelchair in 2 days.   She never died from the cancer, it was other organ failure due to dementia and old age.

I know two wonderful women in the local Cancer resource support center, where I attended regular meetings, who are now suffering from new cancer in their breasts, from having radiation some years earlier.  One has since passed.

This series of films shows medical practitioners around the world treating cancer, and saying you can beat cancer with improved diet and other.   They talk about essential oils, Essiac tea, and success stories by patients themselves.

When I was diagnosed, I sought consultation with at least 5 oncologists, and had a full team with the University of Washington give me their recommendation.   All of them said chemo and radiation, even if I choose mastectomy (which I did do at that University Medical Center)  None gave me any advice about success stories of those who choose to boost their immune system.

After I went through 6 surgeries (I thought they would never end)… the lumpectomy,  mastectomy, the D.I.E.P flap transfer, a lift on the other breast, some further corrective surgery… when I finally felt I was getting back to ‘normal’, I again choose to visit another oncologist in a large oncology center.   I met personally with an oncologist who was then President of the whole area oncology association, a well respected man.   He knew why I was there.   He said, ‘Kathy, I know why you’re here, you want my opinion of everything you’ve chosen to do’.    He carefully went through all of my medical records, step by step reviewing what I had done, including some follow up PET/CT scans.   His final words were, ‘I wish more women were like you Kathy, and did research.  I believe the decisions you made were excellent, I would not recommend any chemo for you… and in fact, I think you will be fine for a very long time.  Go have a good life!’   Back in the car, I broke down in tears… tears of relief, that finally, a doctor had endorsed my journey.

So all I can say, this film is Free on Youtube currently (it may not be forever)… I personally don’t know anyone making a buck from other’s pain, other than the oncologists and pharmaceuticals.   I’ve linked it on my Facebook account, and have seen a few friends who have picked up on it and are watching… that in itself is uplifting.

I wouldn't say rude or ignorant, however,

I have watched 3 people in our support group here locally, and in person, who's followed I tube videos. One young man 33 yrs old was almost done with his colon cancer chemo. Tumors almost gone who went with the cannibis cure. He stopped his chemo ands did the  Hemp. He did not get one response from anyone he had emailed who was supposedly cured. He still went to CA spent 1200. On the oil. The only responses he got were from those selling the 'cure'.  He was gone within 3months, left behind a wife and 3 kids.

Another lady did the 'eastern 'Indian diet' stopped her chemo. She was gone within 6 months and was only stage 2a.  The third went to someplace in Mexico to a spa below Tuscon, she went from stage one to stage 4 within a year.  She went back to local cancer center here but it was too far spread.

We all make our own decisions. There are many that have come on this site trying to push 'cures' to those of us who are volurnable, we don't want to die.

Only 30% of those diagnosed with breast cancer will have a recurrence.  Some of us follow everything to a T, and still go from stage 1  to 4.  I have fought stage iv for 6+ years, and now am on hospice, reaching the end.  I don't regret my choices.  I have given this disease all the fight I have and am happy to see people check into all of these 'cures'.  What may help one person may also mean that person was never one of the 30%who would never have gotten the cancer back anyways.  let's just not do name calling because some one is questioning another 'cure'.  If these cures worked I would not be stage iv.  I tried the healthy diet of the Japanese for a long wile, it spread to my liver (I was also on chemo).  I did edibles, it helped with nausea but tumor markers still grew????  I never stopped my onco treatment, and told him of diet changes and edibles.

Just please show respect in how we address each other!

Was not going to respond, but...

Snake oil salesman did not bother me at all.  We are a very vulnerable group with our lives on the line.  Would you tell soldiers on the front lines they cannot curse?!?!?

Many of us are angry and scared and hurting, etc. and I feel we have earned the right to vent in whatever way makes us feel better that does not injure anyone.

My dear Ninja, Carol..again your non-stop graciousness regardless of all the mess continues to astound me and though maintaining your unceasing civilised and positive attitude is wonderful, it is really miraculous and not possible for many of us.

    Ninja I LOVE YOU!!!!!

    The clip

I watched it and it scared me so bad I could not finish it .. I am glad that I turned it off .. I made the choice to mix things up .. I am taking Chemo , I will have surgery..
I am walking my faith and I stay Praying to God that he blesses everything from the food I eat to the chemo I take ..

I also talk with a Naturpath who give me light-touch treatments helps me detox and helps me with my Vegan High Alkaline diet plan ..
See what I took from the Free video before I turned it off is that everyone case is different and that you have to do what is right for you ..
Me Its Having Faith that God can heal me and that God has put together a team of Doctors , nurses, lab tech, prayer warriors and support people as well as my Naturopath doctor ..
I say watch the Film if you want .. But before you jump on the Chemo is Bad band .. Think about the fact that millions make it with chemo and less without ..I am not saying that you can not get better or that people will not heal without it ..
I am saying do what you feel is best for you ..

Me I say I am recovering daily from Stage 2 BC .. and I plan to be alive for a very long time ..Cool

    Any type of cancer

I read these boards quite a bit.  My sister is a 14 year survivor of triple negative breast cancer.  She did the chemo and radiation and lumpectory(?).  She is followed yearly and there have been times the doctor has been concerned about something or other and all thankfully have been negative.  My Aunt fought esophageal cancer, not a smoker or drinker, but lost her battle.  My husband fought laryngeal cancer with chemo radiation and then surgery.  We thought he had beat it, but no he was diagnosed with a second primary which he fought but lost his battle a year and a half ago.  My DIL's Aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer underwent one chemo treatment and said no more.  She did have surgery but now several years later she is in the final stage of her battle but still relies all on these natural cures she reads about.

They say we all have the cancer gene and that something triggers it and whether we win or lose really isn't up to us regardless of what treatment you chose to undergo.  Some go thru so much and lose and some win.  I remember the pretty young girl who play on Family matters and she was diagnosed with uterine cancer but didn't want to undergo surgery or chem or radiation because she wanted to haver children.  She chose to go to Mexico and one of those clinics like others have done but guess what she lost and then it was too late for the radiation and chemo.  We all chose how we decide to fight this battle and it is our choice and ours alone.  I didn't try to talk my husband out of his choice which was no more.  Said he had been thru enough and he lived for another 2 1/2 years and the majority of that time was very good.  I watched and listened to my Aunt as she fought and did everything the doctors told her to, but to no avail.  She had a grandson who had been diagnosed with lukemina and he fought and won so she wanted to show him she could too.

Personally as long as cancer has been around, there is a cure but then the companies wouldn't make money off it if they put the cure on the market.   With all the ads on TV for new medicines and the side effects it scares me as to whether I would want to take it or not.
