She doesnt want anything anymore

Just a little while ago, my wife, Judy, said that she has had it. She does not want calls, people visiting, texting, no programs like visiting dogs---which she use to love, no future talk, nothing at all.

What do I do or say?

Could be just a really bad day or few days. Could be frustration or fatigue or just needing to take a break.

    What is her prognosis?

Back in the end of August, my wife Judy started bleeding internally from a big ulcer that was caused from taking the steroid prednisone. This drug was given to her to lower the persistent high blood calcium levels she has had ---a condition that BC causes in some people.

Interventional radiology fixed the problem, but it left her with a slow healing digestive system. Consequently, her new oncologist could not give her chemotherapy till just this week.

Also she is often dehydrated, the $3000 miracle pills –Ibrance---she had been taking was not working fast enough according to her onc. And because of her messed up digestive system, she hardly drinks or eats---required a feeding tube for a few days last week.

Right now her blood numbers are ok. If the digestive system would heal, she can get chemotherapy again. I think she will be ok then.

    She must be exhausted

    I'm sure you are, too.

Surely a break from everyone and everything would be in order with suppressed immune system?
